Māori Maps
TE POTIKI NATIONAL TRUST
Māori Maps is a gateway to the Māori world of marae. It aims to take descendants and visitors to the gateway of marae around Aotearoa/New Zealand. The Māori Maps project is managed by Te Potiki National Trust Limited. Brainchild of Paul Tapsell, Māori Maps has ticked almost two decades of service to the ancestral (tribal) marae of Aotearoa - by being a portal to reconnect the descendent-diaspora.
To date Māori Maps features over 780 ancestral marae, mapped across eight years, and thousands of kilometres.
